Privacy notice

This notice explains what SiteModder collects through this website and what we do with it. Questions or requests: hello@sitemodder.com.

What we collect

• When you ask for a free preview: your business name, your name, phone number, email address, current website, and anything you write to us.
• When you sign up: the same details, plus the record of your electronic signature: the agreement version you accepted, the name you typed, the date and time, and the internet address and browser you signed from.
• When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what they collect.
• When you visit: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles the technical information every website receives (such as your internet address) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. This site uses fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the same kind of technical information. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To prepare your preview, provide the services you signed up for, take payment, and keep in touch about your website. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it except with the services that help us run the business (such as Stripe and Cloudflare), or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Signed agreements and payment records are kept for 7 years, for tax and legal reasons. Preview requests from businesses that don't become clients are deleted after 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@sitemodder.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (such as payment records) stay until that period ends.

Websites we build for clients

Client websites include a call counter that records anonymous counts only: which button was tapped (Call, Text or Email) and on what day. It stores no cookies, no internet addresses, and nothing that identifies a visitor.
